Description
In order to successfully operate a wastewater treatment plant, all operators must understand the basics mathematics of plant operations. This course is designed to introduce students to (and remove the fear of) fundamental principles of mathematics and their applications for wastewater plant processes.

– Calculating area, volume, and circumference
Applied Calculations Covered in this Program Will Include:
– Flows
– Volume
– Velocity
– Solids Removal Efficiency
– Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5)

– Weirs

Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in CT, and MA. TCHs are pending approval in ME.

A $15 late registration fee will be charged for all registrations received within one week of the class. A confirmation email will be sent to the registration email provided.
Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than seven days prior to course start time. Cancellations received after this time will be charged $50. Registrants who do not cancel and who fail to show up are responsible for full payment.”
