Description

Learn about new and evolving technologies that have the potential to help manage PFAS and emerging contaminants in biosolids. Presenters will explain novel treatment innovations including, but not limited to, hydrothermal alkaline treatment (HALT), plasma destruction, and electrochemical treatment.  

This webinar is the final installment in a series organized by NEIWPCC and NEBRA spotlighting the technologies shaping the future of sludge and biosolids management. Led by researchers and industry experts, each webinar combines a strong technical foundation with real-world insights to explore topics ranging from established approaches like dewatering and drying to emerging and early-stage innovations. 

Course Details

  • TCHs are approved in ME (NEI100726), NH (HQR-865G-2DSS1), NY (RTC-26663-26), RI, VT, MA, and CT.
  • Participants must attend the entire session and participate in polls to receive TCHs. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion.
  • All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes when the class starts.
  • Cancellations must be received at training@neiwpcc.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
