During the five-session course, the instructors will review wastewater laws and regulations, the pretreatment process, sedimentation and flotation, secondary biological treatment and processes, disinfections, solids handling, and other pertinent topics.

Participants will receive instruction in the mathematical calculations used in wastewater treatment and likely to be encountered on the Class I and II exams. Students must bring a basic calculator and pen/pencil.
