Description

This four-day, 12-hour course intended for those preparing to take Grades 1 through 4 of the NEWEA Collection Systems Certification exams. Participants will receive instruction on collection system operation and maintenance (O&M), including but not limited to the purpose of wastewater collection, wastewater flow characteristics, collection system components; pump stations, system maintenance and inspection; pipeline rehabilitation, and collection system safety. The course will also review math concepts and provide example problems for exam preparation, so bring a BASIC CALCULATOR to use during class.

This course is sponsored by NEIWPCC in conjunction with the EPA.

Additional Details
Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in RI, NY, CT, and MA. This class is approved for ME WW Operations TCHs.

Participants will be awarded TCHs consistent with the proportion of the session they are in attendance. Participation in polls may be used to verify attendance. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion.

All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes when the class starts.
