| Join us for our Wastewater Laboratory Demo Day event on July 8, 2026. This 4 TCH, regional event features a full-day of in-person training and exhibition using lab equipment that utility operators will encounter at a water or wastewater treatment plant. This Demonstration Day is a space for face-to-face networking for professionals from across the industry.
From Hach: Participants will learn to accurately measure key parameters such as ammonia, nitrate, and orthophosphate using standard laboratory methods. The course covers proper sample handling, instrument operation, quality control practices, and data validation to ensure reliable results. Hands-on demonstrations and exercises reinforce analytical techniques and troubleshooting skills for routine testing. From IDEXX: This presentation will include a brief introduction to water microbiology, information on MTF and membrane filtration, and the basics of enzymatic methods. Methods for the detection of target bacteria will be reviewed, including using the IDEXX Quanti-Tray system. A demonstration of the IDEXX Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS will provided. This course is sponsored by NEIWPCC in conjunction with the EPA. Course Details Links to certificates will be emailed to participants after the course concludes and staff verify attendance through sign in sheets. A $15 late registration fee will be charged for all registrations received within one week of the class. A confirmation email will be sent to the registration email provided. Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than seven days prior to course start time. Cancellations received after this time will be charged $50. Registrants who do not cancel and who fail to show up are responsible for full payment. |
