Description

The second of two parts of an introductory class designed to provide an understanding of pumps and hydraulic principles. Topics covered include pump types, suction conditions, and installation. In addition, participants will learn about pumping hydraulics as well as mechanical seal and bearing types and applications.

This course is sponsored by NEIWPCC in conjunction with MassDEP and MAWEA.

Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in NH, RI, NY, VT, CT, and MA. This class is approved for ME WW Operations TCHs. This class is also approved for ME DW TCHs.

Participants will be awarded TCHs consistent with the proportion of the session they are in attendance. Participation in polls may be used to verify attendance. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion.

All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes when the class starts.

Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
