| This course provides an introduction to municipal wastewater treatment. Topics covered include reasons for treating municipal wastewater; wastewater characteristics; collections systems; preliminary, primary, and secondary treatment; disinfection; and solids handling. Math calculations for municipal wastewater treatment are also covered.
This course is sponsored by NEIWPCC in conjunction with MassDEP and MAWEA. Additional Details Participants will be awarded TCHs consistent with the proportion of the session they are in attendance. Participation in polls may be used to verify attendance. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion. All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes when the class starts. Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time. |
