Description

This online course is for contractors looking to renew their erosion control certification or be reinstated as certified in erosion control. This is not to pay for initial certification.

Please read the following carefully so that you understand how this new recertification/reinstatement process works.

The course is online and self-paced, so it can be completed on your schedule anywhere you have access to the internet. You will have access to the course for 30 days after being added to the platform by someone on our team.

After purchasing, NEIWPCC will send a link to take the online course within 2-3 business days to the address provided with registration. The email to access the course will come from Coassemble, our learning platform. Please check your spam for your link before contacting NEIWPCC for assistance. 

Upon successful completion of the course, your information will be sent to DEP to have the credits added to your record. Successful completion requires all assignments be completed. Please note: In order to progress through the course, students MUST visit all modules and click on all content markers. No partial credit will be awarded.

STUDENTS WILL HAVE ONE (1) MONTH FROM ENROLLMENT TO COMPLETE THE COURSE. If the course is not completed within this timeframe, the student may be required to pay the full registration fee again.

NEIWPCC is a regional commission that helps the states of the Northeast preserve and advance water quality. Maine DEP contracts with NEIWPCC to administer the Erosion Control Practices Certification program through the NEIWPCC South Portland/JETCC office.
