Instructor: Tom Bienkiewicz, NEIWPCC This advanced course has been designed for individuals preparing for higher-level certification exams. Attendees should have completed basic wastewater treatment coursework, hold a low-level wastewater license, or have a working knowledge of municipal wastewater solids handling as a prerequisite for this course. This course focuses on various methods for solids processing. Topics covered include conditioning, stabilization, thickening, dewatering, and digestion. Math calculations for municipal wastewater treatment and solids disposal options are also covered. Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT. Participants must attend the entire session and participate in polls to receive TCHs. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion. All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes one hour before class starts. Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
