Instructor: Tom Bienkiewicz, NEIWPCC This course provides an introduction to preliminary and primary treatment in municipal wastewater treatment facilities. Topics covered include screening/grinding; grit removal; odor control; flow measurement; and primary clarifiers. Math calculations for municipal wastewater treatment are also covered. Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT. Participants must attend the entire session and participate in polls to receive TCHs. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion. All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes one hour before class starts. Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
