The second of two parts of an advanced course designed for individuals preparing for higher-level certification exams. Attendees should have completed basic industrial wastewater treatment coursework, hold a low-level industrial wastewater license, or have a working knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment as a prerequisite for this course.
Topics covered include neutralization, membrane filtration, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, metals removal, and associated operation and maintenance. Math calculations for industrial wastewater treatment are also covered.
Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT.
Participants must attend the entire session and participate in polls to receive TCHs. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion.
All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes one hour before class starts.
Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
