Instructor: Tom Bienkiewicz, NEIWPCC The second of two parts of an introductory class designed to provide an understanding of municipal secondary treatment. Included is an overview of the variety of secondary treatment options including: trickling filters, RBCs, pond lagoon systems, SBRs, MBBRs, step feed and secondary clarifiers. Math calculations for municipal wastewater treatment are also discussed. Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT. Participants must attend the entire session and participate in polls to receive TCHs. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion. All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes one hour before class starts. Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
