This class will provide a comprehensive look into the world of submersible pumps, the history of their evolution and what the future has in store. Majority of focus will be on the principles of operation and maintenance of submersible pumps. The morning session will include classroom instruction covering topics including:

  • Submersible pump history
  • Current submersible capabilities
  • Submersible pump overview – design application
  • Components of submersible pumps
  • Maintenance procedures

The afternoon will feature the tear down and re-assembly of Flygt brand pumps to demonstrate proper procedures. Students will have the opportunity to participate during the afternoon demonstration.

Presented by JETCC. Maine JETCC is a program managed by NEIWPCC through a contract with Maine DEP.

To avoid late registration fee, please register no later than September 24, 2024. Registrations received after this time will be charged a $15 late fee. A confirmation email will be sent to the registration email provided.

Cancellations received after this time will be charged $25 for programs under $100 and $50 for programs over $100. Registrants who do not cancel or who fail to show are responsible for full payment.
