Description
This five-session course helps students move beyond the basics to a deeper understanding of the operation of wastewater treatment plants. It provides invaluable instruction for those preparing for Class III and IV certification exams. To enroll, you should have existing understanding of the basic principles in the Sacramento State University Operation of Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants, Volumes 1 and 2, as well as SSU’s Advanced Waste Treatment.
Participants will receive instruction in the mathematical calculations used in wastewater treatment and likely to be encountered on the Class III and IV exams. Students must bring a basic calculator and pencil/pen.
This course is sponsored by NEIWPCC in conjunction with the EPA.
Course Details
Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in CT, MA, RI.
Participants MUST attend and be attentive during ALL FIVE SESSIONS to receive full credit. Participants must attend and be attentive during a minimum of 50% of the course to receive any partial credit.
Registration closes seven days before class starts. $15 fee for late registrations.
Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than seven days prior to course start date.
