Description
This course introduces wastewater operators to the fundamentals of reading and interpreting engineering blueprints commonly used in wastewater treatment projects. Participants will learn to identify and understand key components of an engineering design. The training will cover how to navigate and apply contract specifications that outline project requirements, materials, and standards. Operators will also gain hands-on experience reading contract drawings (also known as blueprints), with a focus on recognizing symbols, scales, and construction details. By the end of the course, attendees will be better equipped to support construction, maintenance, and compliance efforts through accurate interpretation of design documents.
This course is sponsored by NEIWPCC in conjunction with the EPA.
