This class covers the basic troubleshooting and diagnosis of Environment One® grinder pump systems. Attendees will be trained to inspect the installation to properly identify external issues that can lead to service issues. Diagnostic training of system operation will cover electrical diagnostics from pump chamber to alarm panel. Proper testing of circuitry to include power supply analyses, pump operation, and testing of motor and alarm functions. The class will discuss the basic service repairs that can be made in the field including lower wet end repairs.

The second half of the class will involve a full hands-on pump core inspection, disassembly, repair, and testing. Attendees will be involved with diagnostics of wear parts and internal components, including motor, starters, and controllers. Pump cores will be fully re-assembled and tested at the conclusion of the class.

Presented by JETCC. Maine JETCC is a program managed by NEIWPCC through a contract with Maine DEP.
