Course Details

This course is a two hour primer on pumps and pumping including a brief overview of pump types and their applications, review of pump components and terminology, and discussion on pumping concepts of pressure and head.

The course will be led by NEIWPCC’s long time instructor Don Kennedy and moderated by staff to convey questions in real time. Join us to brush up on your pumping knowledge to ensure you get the most out of our In-Person Pump-a-Palooza demonstrations and exhibit stations the following day!

Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) approved in CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT and NY.
TCHs also approved for Drinking Water in ME.

Participants must attend the entire session and participate in polls to receive TCHs. Links to certificates will be emailed to participants upon course completion.

All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes one hour before class starts.

Cancellations must be received at Training@NEIWPCC.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
