Major and selected minor permittees under the NPDES program are required to participate in EPA’s annual Discharge Monitoring Report–Quality Assurance (DMR-QA) study program. DMR-QA evaluates the analytical ability of the laboratories that perform self-monitoring analyses required by their NPDES permit.

If you are required to participate in DMR-QA, work in the lab, and are responsible for completing the DMR-QA activities for your facility, join us to learn from Phyllis Rand from Compass Rose Training Solutions.

This 2-hour class presents an overview of the EPA Discharge Monitoring Report-Quality Assurance Study (DMR-QA). Topics of the class include:

• The purpose of the study
• Requirements for wastewater treatment facilities
• Common causes of failure and pitfalls to avoid

Course Details

Wastewater Training Contact Hours (TCHs) are approved in CT, MA, and ME. TCHs are pending in NH, NY, and VT.

All participants must be registered to view the course. Registration closes one hour before class starts.

Cancellations must be received at maine@neiwpcc.org no less than 24 hours prior to course start time.
